Academic Integrity in the Wake of COVID-19: Let’s Learn from Each Other!

Thompson Rivers University is pleased to be hosting the 2021 Canadian Symposium on Academic Integrity on June 22nd and 23rd

This year’s conference will be virtual and free for all participants. Our keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Thomas Lancaster on June 22nd and there will a plenary panel on June 23rdon the topic of contract cheating.

We invite you to register to attend this free virtual event by using the registration page on this website.

We also welcome presentation proposals from staff, faculty, and students on all topics related to Academic Integrity.

Of particular interest to us are presentations on any of the following topics:

  • Academic Integrity and emergency remote teaching
  • Best practices and emerging ideas in academic integrity policy development
  • Faculty and student education on academic integrity
  • Academic integrity and e-proctoring
  • Legislation to address providers of contract cheating in Canada
  • Addressing the challenges posed by file-sharing sites
  • Restorative justice approaches to academic integrity

Please submit your proposals using the Call for Proposals form.

Submission deadline for presentation proposals: May 23, 2021

Presenters will be notified of acceptance by May 31.

Presentation sessions will be 45 minutes long, including time for questions.
